Styling Finger Twist made easy 2010

Styling natural hair can be made easy with the Finger Twist hairstyle for 2010. This hairstyle is trendy and fun, styled using just your fingers and some bees wax. When looking for a fast way to turn an Afro from big hair into tiny curls just stand in front of a mirror and section off small portions of hair. I suggest starting from the back of your head to get even curls. For best results work on virgin/natural hair that has a wave pattern. Trying this on straight hair will result in a different style.

Using your fingers simply apply a pea size amount of bees wax to the area of hair you will be working with. The bees wax will help hold your finger twist in place, while adding moisture to the hair shaft. Roll the hair between your thumb and pointer finger from the base to the ends in a clock wise motion. Continue this until the hair is fully wrapped into a finger twist curl. Continue working until the entire head is covered with bees wax and tiny curls.

This look can last for about a week if proper hair care instructions are followed. Dread locks can be achieved using this technique if left in the hair for a longer period of time.

To add some interest to  this natural hair style simply wear accessories such as hair clips with diamonds  or a flower to the side of the hair.

Some people use this technique to the back section of the hair while wearing hair rolls to the front section. Hair rolls can be large or tiny depending on the look your trying to achieve.
