This all Natural Hairstyle was created by Alexis on October 20th, 2009. This hairstyle uses red knitting yarn as hair extensions and requires no hash chemicals. The yarn was braided on small sections of the hair into long individual braids. This hairstyle is sassy and hot.
These yarn extensions are much lighter and soft on my scalp than other hair brands I’ve tried. This yarn is also a cool auburn red. When I go to bed I don’t even have to wear a hair cap. Just shake my yarn braids and go. These yarn braids kinda make me feel like I have dreadlocks, its so cool.
This braided hairstyle took eight hours to accomplish and can be worn for up to three months with proper hair care. I started braiding my hair and got tired after the first six hours. Then I continued the following day and after two hours, finally the beautiful end result of red yarn hair extensions. The ends of the braided yarn were left free hanging to give a more dramatic look.
Hair Care Advice Shampoo braids with a mild shampoo. Allow braids to air dry. Use oil on scalp to help prevent dry spots.
Additional way of styling these yarn extensions is to braid hair into two French braids and wrap ends into a bun.
